With original buildings dating back to 1756, the Karoo 1 Hotel is a restructured farm located in Touwsrivier. It offers elegant rooms and features a swimming pool and a restaurant. Oh my goodness this little place is the most beautiful place we have ever been to. From the moment we arrived till the moment we left, everything was perfect. The amazing reception we got on arrival - the best... these two gentlemen were so friendly and very helpful. The room was stunning and clean, the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant was beautiful clean and warm. The staff were top notch and our waitress was pleasant, helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. Complements to the Chef for an outstanding meal, well presented and my chops cooked to perfection. We will definitely visit again and we have already told our friends of a must stay at Karoo 1 Hotel. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant and comfortable.

We felt very lucky to find this little gem in the Karoo, with the most beautiful view and peaceful surroundings. Really a highlight of our trip and great family time spent together along the fireplace and beutiful view behind while sipping a cup of tea and lovely wine. The staff was really helpful and kind in navigating us and recommending walks around the reserve. They went above and beyond for us to enjoy our stay, thank you again!

The Opstal accommodation is located in the beautiful Slanghoek valley with stunning, breathtaking views of mountains and vineyards. It has everything for a comfortable stay, including braai facilities and a hot tub (wood is available at the accommodation). The place is spacious and beautifully designed with great thoughtfulness. It was clean, neat and beautifully decorated. There are board games provided. The hot tub has amazing panoramic views. We enjoyed the complementary gifts provided by the friendly and welcoming host, Karmin. The Opstal restaurant offers delicious food, wine tasting and is located within walking distance. We loved everything about our stay and will definitely be back.

I loved the location, the room, the hosts and the peaceful ambiance of the location. The whole atmosphere was relaxing . The hosts were great, then invited us to join hem for a glass of wine after we had settled in and they also offered us dinner, which was delicious. The lady of the house also brought us some fresh laid eggs ans dome vegetables from their garden, which I turned into 2 delicious omlettes. We were not charged for any of the extras that we received.

Offering a terrace and views of the mountains, PicardiPlace is situated on a working farm, near the quaint village of Rawsonville. Very friendly owner. Beautiful big garden area. Great safe location.
