We booked this hotel last minute and are now absolutely in love! I have been telling all my friends to stay here in case they travel to Lisbon. Everything is perfect from the moment you step in - amazing host, great interior, perfect breakfast prepared on spot for you not to mention amazing in-house coffee! The hotel is in an old palace and we felt like a royalty staying there!

The place itself is great. I almost never encountered the other guests and felt like the house was for me. Helen was excellent in communication and the check in was easy. everything is really clean and the room was comfortable.

The location is ideally on the pedestrian shopping street. It’s next to one of the tastiest pastel de nata places so very easy to pop down for a treat. We had a balcony overlooking the street and the view was magnificent. The breakfast was very nice and the rooftop terrace is pleasant. Easy to stroll to all the major sights. Despite being on a busy street, the room was quiet.

I can't really express my feelings how much we've liked it here. Maybe by mentioning that it was so hard to leave that we seriously considered staying more than planned. Sadly that was not possible. Let me give you some reasons to go there: - the room is beautiful, - the view is even better than in ths photos, - the bed is very comfortable, - the breakfast on the balcony every morning was like a dream (the breakfast was taken to our room and it was actually decently varied and really good), - the location is perfect (close to a lot of main attractions, to a metro station, and in walking distance to both train stations that go to Sintra and Cascais), - the little suprises left for us every day were only the cherry on top (and they always made our day better), - there are a few drinks (coffee, tea, water...) and snacks in the lobby where you can get as many things as you want, anytime, for free, - everybody there made us feel like home. Just go there, you won't regret it :)

Patrick was an excellent and helpful host - he even went out of his way to suggest both Lisbon recommendations and places where we should stop as we drove around the country - SO thoughtful! The location was superb. Place is quiet, beautifully lit, clean, cleaning staff is so nice, and the bed was very comfortable. Can't wait to come back!
